The fourth issue in our 12-part monthly zine series for 2025 is here. Still Life is a 32-page exploration of quiet beauty, fragility, and the art of noticing. Through thoughtful film photography and minimal writing, this April issue invites you to slow down and look closer at the objects and moments we often overlook.
From carved fruit to carefully composed frames, each spread captures the stillness and intimacy that defines still life as a practice. It’s a gentle, visual meditation—perfect for flipping through on a slow morning or quiet night.
The front and back cover photos by Maya Anne were made by carving into an apple. They were photographed with a Fujifilm disposable camera. Maya’s practice explores tenderness, fragility, and impermanence through ephemeral fruit sculptures. She is currently an undergraduate at Parsons School of Design in New York.
