This book has been a long time coming. Two years ago, I went on a trip to house-sit in LA County. At the time, I had been photographing for about two years, and this trip was a turning point for me. I shot more than I ever had before, and for the first time, I felt like a real photographer. I returned with more images than I knew what to do with and made a promise to turn them into a zine. I did, but after a bout of self-doubt, I shelved the project.
Now, two years later, I’ve revisited the designs and finally had the zines printed. They are almost exactly what I had put together back in 2022, and in many ways, this is my way of proving to my younger self that it was possible all along.
I’m selling the zines in two-packs, each featuring a black-and-white zine and a CMYK zine, which includes both color and black-and-white photos. The color zine is 20 pages, and the black-and-white zine is 36 pages. Both are printed in 8.5" x 5.5" digest size on high-quality photo paper.
Only five copies have been made, and I don’t plan on printing more. The funds from these sales will help launch a massive photo book, which is set to release next month.
